Too bad there's no Boerum Hill hoodie... *snif*

I love finding positive articles about my neighborhood. After 8 yrs of living in Boerum Hill people are finally starting to discover and appreciate it. New York Newsday has a great article about shopping and the gentrification/"renaissance" that has been going on over the past 7 yrs.

Let's hope that through all of the change and growing pains Boerum Hill is going through, we don't lose the thing that kept me in the neighborhood, the sense of community, pride, energy and diversity. It would be a shame for such an amazing neighborhood to lose it's spirit.

On a side note I'm going all NIMBY:
One of the largest threats to Boerum Hill, Prospect Heights, Park Slope, Ft. Greene, Crown Heights is Ratner's Arena
